Fast-Track Registration
Physicians who meet the national standard for a full, unrestricted license for independent practice and are in good standing with another Canadian Medical Regulatory Authority, can use this pathway to registration.

Requirements
1. To meet the requirements of the national standard, the following eligibility criteria applies:
- A Medical Degree from a nationally approved faculty of medicine or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree;
For family physicians: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP); or
For specialists: LMCC and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) certification by examination.
2. Be in active practice in a Canadian jurisdiction and;
3. Meet the applicable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
Additionally, you must:
- Be in good standing with any and all medical regulatory authorities you are currently registered with.
- Be authorized to practice medicine in a Canadian jurisdiction within the scope of your professional practice independently and without restriction.
- Provide a Certificate of Professional Conduct (CPC) from the medical regulatory authority in the jurisdiction where you are applying. The CPC must be clear of significant concerns, such as:
- Terms and conditions on the ability to engage in practice, including any arising from pending or concluded complaints or investigations.
- Voluntary surrenders or withdrawal from practice in relation to a regulatory complaint or investigation.
- Disciplinary actions, pending or concluded with findings.
- Terms, conditions or an undertaking or agreement arising from physician health monitoring, or criminal convictions.

How to Apply for Fast-Track Registration

- Once your application request is received and reviewed, you will receive further information on how to access the application through the CPSM Portal.
- Once your completed application and documentation fee is received, you will be contacted regarding eligibility and required documents (please note that fees are non-refundable).The documents include, but are not limited to:

- Criminal Record Check from the jurisdiction in which you are currently practising in;
- Certificate of Professional Conduct from the medical regulatory authority in the jurisdiction you are practising;
- Office address in which you intend to practice in Manitoba;
- Fees
- Professional liability insurance and identification (ie., Canadian passport, or passport and one of the following: work permit, Permanent Resident Status or Canadian Citizenship).
