This Information Sheet on Virtual Medicine Across Provincial and International Borders was developed to provide physicians with CPSM’s interpretation of the legislation pertaining to the practice of telemedicine/virtual medicine across borders.
It includes information for physicians registered in Manitoba looking to practice medicine virtually outside of the province, and for physicians not registered in Manitoba looking to practice virtually to patients in Manitoba.
There is no telemedicine/virtual medicine Class of registration, or a partial registration in Manitoba for treating Manitoba patients.
