Canadian Women Physicians' Day
March 11, 2025 marks the fifth annual Canadian Women Physicians Day (CWPD). On this day, we honour Canadian women+ physicians who have overcome barriers and worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others.
The date of March 11 commemorates the date in 1875, Dr. Jennie Trout became the first woman licensed to practice medicine in Canada.
There is no shortage of women physicians in various roles at CSPM. Their diverse experiences, perspectives, and career trajectories within the field of medical practice are an incredible strength to our team.
