Defining Indigenous Racism
To acknowledge the existence of anti-Indigenous racism and to develop initiatives to address this form of racism, it is necessary to define it. That includes citing instances and examples of racial discrimination in the medical profession.
Anti-Indigenous racism is defined in the Standard of Practice for Practicing Medicine to Eliminate Anti-Indigenous Racism, which will become effective in early 2025.
